Our life this past week.

Put on some makeup for my sister Jordan's birthday dinner. It's been so hot here in Texas that I have not been doing my makeup lately.
I've been helping Violet with a few preschool workbooks daily. Were using flash cards from Target, workbooks from Dollar Tree and a Kumon numbers book. She loves learning! I think she writes pretty good for just turning 4. I feel like I have to keep her busy with this stuff since she is not in school yet. I'm having so much heartache at the thought of her going to kindergarten and being away for 7 hours a day! I take her everywhere with me from shopping, to running, to errands...A lot of praying going on in my head for this topic! I can't understand how 5 year olds can be in a class of 20 and get the attention they need amongst other things that I worry about.
Made Quinoa for the first time. This recipe was delish! Roasted tomatoes, kale, corn, pumpkin seeds and pesto. Lots of flavor.
We have been enjoying the weather and spending lots of time outside. Violet inspecting a leaf she found.

Last night Matt and I rented Your Highness. Terrible movie! I usually like anything with Natalie Portman but not that! So, that's what I've been up to. Plus my nightly runs!
