Doctor Visit

Look at my tired, little baby. It was the dreaded shot day. I know she needs to get these shots but I don't like seeing them hurt her! I sound a little crazy about the shots, huh? When I was little I lunged at a doctor that was trying to give my sister a shot. Ya, that's how much I don't like them. Daddy-O went with us to help me keep Violet from destroying the waiting room. They had a kid rocking chair that I had to repeatedly stop her from standing in. She wants to climb everything! Oh, and she was also fascinated with trying to take pacifers from babies. Yes, she grabbed 2 of them. She's fast! One of the baby's mother went to highschool with me. So, I tryed to chit chat with her for a little while but Violet was just SO busy! Anyway, 2 hours later and she's got 4 band-aids, and a sucker to numb the pain. Don't worry, I took it out of her mouth right after the picture was taken!

Tomorrow Jawjie and mom are going camping with some friends. I wanna go camping, I haven't wanted to do that in a long time. My parent's used to take us all the time. Now that I have a little one I think Daddy-O and I need to start camping. It builds character. Maybe when it's not 103 degrees outside we'll go!

Mamma Mia

I really wanna see this! I'm sure I would like it. Not that I'm hard to please with movies anyway..Make it romantic, girly, funny, or full of music and I'll like it! It's a musical filled with ABBA songs. But how will I get to see it? I haven't been to see a movie since I was 8 months pregnant. My baby is almost 13 months old. I can't even calculate exactly how many months it's been. That's how it is being a mommy. My mom took my youngest sister, Jaley to see this yesterday. Jaley gets everything! That's how it is being the youngest. I'll let yall know if I get to see this on the big screen or on my flat screen!

Violet and her "Daa"

I'm so proud of my little girl! Guess what she did today?! We were playing in her room with her toys. I had put a bunch of her puzzles on the floor to mess around with. Then she said "Daa". Well, that is her word for her stuffed dog and real dogs too. I figured she was just doing baby blab because the dog wasn't in there. Nope! She toddled out of the room and came back to me with her toy dog! It was so adorable! She's really becoming attached to that little dog. Who knew? My dad gave it to her while we were on vacation last month. He will get a kick out of hearing this!

Woke Up Early

Yep, I did. Violet and I usually sleep in till 10am. But this sunday morning I woke up early at 7 and couldn't sleep but I wasn't tired anymore anyway. So, I decided that I needed to go workout. I usually go in the afternoon after Matt gets home from work. It feels really nice to get up early every once in a while! The sun was up and shining and I ran on the treadmill and did light weights. And Lucky for me Violet was still asleep when I got home so I could take a shower! This is gonna be a good day! My 2 favorite shows come on tonight, Next Design Star and Next Food Network Star! Woo-Hoo!

Happy Birthday Mom!

There's my momma and her grandgirl! We had a simple dinner at a catfish-hole-in-the-wall place but the cake was AWESOME! Our favorite, Red Oven Bakery- Red Oven cake! Look at the frosting on Violet's little mouth! After this pic was taken, we got in the car and Violet passed out!

You really can't understand how much your parent's love you until the day you have a child. I always thought my mom was being nosy, silly, or overprotective of me. I think I get it now. This little baby is mine, I gotta love her, that's the easy part! The rest is gonna be challenging. She started walking a couple months ago and now I can't take my eyes off of her! They really do get into everything and everyday she is on a mission to find the most yucky object to put into her mouth. As much as I want to keep her my little cuddly baby, I know she will only get bigger! I know I'll have to come to terms with her growing up but for now she's a mommy's girl! I just LOVE this baby!

Bottled Beauty

I chose Bottled Beauty for the title of my blogspot because I am the mother of a small toddler and I deal with all things baby such as bottles, diapers, and sippy cups, ect. Some people describe makeup loving women as beauty from a bottle. I'm a licensed esthetician/makeup artist and I never leave the house without some makeup on! Blogs are really getting popular and I want to be popular! hehe, No, but really I think this will be a fun place for a high needs girl like me to come write when there is no one available to listen to me. I really don't think I'm high needs but I don't ever like to be alone. Maybe I need a job, I just get bored! I always want to be entertained. So, I guess I should introduce myself. My name is Jill, I'm currently a stay home mommy to my daughter, Violet. She just turned one on July 7. Yes, she got the coolest birth date ever, 07.07.07. No, we didn't plan it! Lucky Girl. I am ridiculously close to my family consisting of my boyfriend, my mom, my dad, and my 3 younger sisters. I graduated from Ogle Beauty School three years ago and I've worked in a couple of salons. Sometimes I miss it, sometimes I don't. I really enjoy being around my sweet little girl. I know all mom's think their kid is the cutest but really she is just too beautiful. I actually already worry about how it will affect her in the future...I'm a little weird. Most people in my family are. My boyfriend thinks that he is the exception but I remind him all the time that he is weird too and that's a good thing! If I tell you your weird or something you say is weird it's usually a compliment! I can be shy, I talk a lot, I can be annoying, I can be childish, I can be boring, I'm very compassionate, I love music, cooking, scrapbooking, being a kid, hgtv, foodnetwork, youtube, makeup everything, skincare, I'm a beauty product whore.
